How long does the filter last?	So far testing has been carried out for 14 months with no problems. (All depending on the amount of dirt/debris getting filtered) The filter can be washed when needed, but if you think that the filter is not working like it used to, please buy another!
Does it filter out water?	No. However the filter will initially stop water and it will rest on the bottom of the filter, But due to the nature of motorbike riding (bumps/jumps/vibration) the water will be dislodged and fall in to tank. If after filling with fuel, you think you have some water, just remove filter from bike and shake the filter in the air so that the water can be flung out of the filter mesh.
Can I wash it out?	Yes, The filter and its inner lining can be removed and washed under a running tap, with a application of dish washing detergent on to mesh.
Will it slow the speed of filling my tank?	Depending on the model filter and or bike, Yes. EG. DRZ400E 10L tank can be filled with aproxmatly %80 speed. DRZ400SM Tin tank 10L Tank can almost be filled at full speed. YZ450F 07 Can be filled at %75 speed.
Can I use a aftermarket alloy fuel cap?	yes
Will the filter sock poking down in to the tank take up some fuel space?	Aprox 5mls or less
What fuel is compatable?	With our testing we have covered ULP-PULP-Diesel, but the outer mesh is 100% Nylon and is made of the same stuff as your MX fuel tank! So all is safe...
My Honda filter is loose in the tank?	yes some models are "loose" in the tank until the fuel cap put on... All filters are designed to be held in place by the mount ring getting held via the fuel cap. The Hondas also have the large plastic protrusion sticking down from the fuel cap that fills the hole in the filter and centers it in place.
Will you make up a prototype for my bike?	Yes. We make up prototypes all the time. just ask. And be willing to measure up your fuel tank and cap. Photos helps us alot too.
What bikes cant you get a filter to fit?	ALL ROAD BIKES WITH KEY LOCKING CAPS BMW 450 BMW 650 BMW 850 BMW K100 KTM 900 KTM 950 KTM 990 KTM 690 (standard rear tank) (can do with adaptor kits) OLD STYLE CLARKE TANKS (due to the strange fuel cap gasket) (new 2009 onwards we can do)
